Informal setup Disconnected
Both people select each other as contacts. Exchange tokens through a trusted channel and confirm who you are connecting to. Tokens include network addresses. Informal messages stay P2P. After connecting, this browser remembers the peer link for seven days and exchanges encrypted setup tokens through the backend to reconnect.
Refresh clears informal history. Your peer link is remembered for seven days in this browser; formal records stay in your inbox. No timed expiry or remote deletion. STUN-only connections may fail on restricted networks; no TURN relay is configured.
Formal only. Connect the informal channel to send both versions.
